Committed to fighting for practical solutions that improve everyday life for working families.

  • Anthony voted YES to audit the legislature in 2024, and like many 17th Middlesex constituents, is appalled at efforts to block the will of the voters since its passage. Constituents loudly called for a statutory check on the legislature’s authority, and too many elected officials are silent about it. Voters in our community deserve to know what is standing in the way of accountability, and Anthony intends to help deliver the audit or face the voters to explain what has gone wrong. Silence is not an option.

  • Anthony loves living in Lowell. He is proud to be a professional fire fighter in Massachusetts. But our State is ranked by Forbes as the 2nd most expensive place to live, so he also understands we must do more to make it a better place to live and work. Affordability is a nationwide crisis, with acute symptoms in Lowell and Tewksbury. Anthony will support policies that reduce the burden on everyday families without risking funding for vital services. He believes  common- sense stewardship of public dollars will ultimately make Massachusetts a more attractive and competitive state for economic development opportunities.

  • Being kind, the recent history of the Massachusetts policy decisions have produced harmful unintended consequences. State government should not impose one-size- fits- all solutions or mandates just because it might make sense in Boston. Lowell and Tewksbury residents work in New Hampshire, Merrimack Valley, Central Mass, Greater Boston, South Shore, and beyond. Small businesses are providing services across multiple counties and states every day. The state legislature should not be in the business of making life harder for people right now.

  • 10 years proudly serving in the Lowell Fire Department with two terms as the local union president gives Anthony Leite a unique perspective on what it means to keep the community safe. What he’s learned is simple: Our public safety policies need to be grounded in reality, not politics. Anthony will continue to support the life- saving programs providing access to proven treatment, recovery and proactive intervention to improve outcomes. It is essential that local police, fire, and EMS have the resources they need to best serve the public.
